It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Marie Leinweaver (Sarasota, Florida), born in Staten Island, New York, who passed away on April 16, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Swanson and Margaret Swanson; her husband Robert; and her sister Margie. She is survived by: her children, Matthew (Gabrielle), Mark and Diane (Jeremy Brown); her grandchildren, Karli, Grace, Madison and Brandon (Stephanie); and her great grandchildren, Kyle and Cole. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.

“I offer my heartfelt condolences to Barbara's three loving children (Matt, Mark and Diane). As her Godson, we had a special bond that I was blessed to have lasted as long as it did. In my youth, that relationship amplified the support of my immediate family. As a young adult, the distance between us weighed heavily on our communication and interactions, but there were always Christmas and birthday calls. Though visits were rare i was able to visit her in January and I am grateful for that.”
