With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barry David Abeshaus (Sarasota, Florida), born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 13, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Abeshaus and Edna Abeshaus. He is survived by: his wife Selma (Oldsman); his children, Karen Bromberg (Daniel) of Columbus, OH, Martin of Burlington, MA and Jon of Charlotte, NC; and his grandchildren, Jennifer, Murphy, David, Kailee, Talia, Sidney and Donovan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Beth Shalom Synagogue, Sarasota, FL.
