We announce the death of Bernice Dickerson Bailey (Sarasota, Florida), born in Stafford, Virginia, who passed away on October 7, 2026, at the age of 98. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dickerson and Mattie Dickerson; her sisters, Mary and Joyce; and her husband Edgar Leon Bailey.
She is survived by: her children, Shelley (Tom) and Ronald.
A committal service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sarasota National Cemetery (9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241).
