With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlotte Whitfield of Sarasota, Florida, born in Cordele, Georgia, who passed away on February 25, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ann Ross and Hilliand Ross; her sister Katherine B. Smith of Springfield; her daughter Josephine A. Sexton; her granddaughter Patrice Thomas; Judy Gee.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Whitfield of Sarasota, Florida.; her children, Adrian Whitfield, Dawn Nunley, Claretha Whitfield Thomas Rosevelt, Clemis Boule (Sam), Robert Whitfield and Rosalind Jackson Thomas; and her close friends, Vivian Moulden, Cynthia Sherman Black Vernon and Capus. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grand and great-grandchildren.
