With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cherie Stone of Sarasota, Florida, who passed away on November 1, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Cherie leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Cherie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She is survived by: her mother Yasuko Stone; her brother John Stone; her sister-in-law Kelly; her niece Adelaide; her sister Patricia Van Lenten (Stone); her brother-in-law David; and her nephews, Owen and Jake.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Cherie's memory to Life Covenant Sanctuary, Bradenton, FL or Grassy Church of Christ, Union Grove, Alabama.
