She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald J. Tipner Sr. and Carolyn E. Stemm; and her siblings, Gerald J. Tipner Jr., Stephen C. Tipner and Lynn A. Stemm.

She is survived by: her husband Gregory T. Kusner; her sister Deborah Szpila (Craig); and her nieces and nephews, Allison Feniuk (Jamie), Ashley Werges (James), Heather L. Kvasnicka, Craig J. Szpila and Steven W. Stemm Lucas.
