He was predeceased by: his father James Cook (Jim). He is survived by: his wife Debbie Cook; his son David Cook of Bradenton, FL; his mother Betty Cook of Sarasota, FL; and his sisters, Lisa Kalmbach of Sarasota, FL and Rebecca Wheeler of Vernon, FL.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sarasota Baptist Church (7091 Proctor Rd, Sarasota, FL 34241).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sarasota Baptist Church missions 7091 Proctor Road, Sarasota, FL 34241 or just shake the hand of a Firefighter, EMT/Paramedic or Law Enforcement officer and say, "thank you for your service".
