He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara J. Marcus; his parents, Theodore C. Marcus and Antonetta D. Durham; and his sister Patricia Denzel. He is survived by: his children, David L. Marcus Jr., Matthew Marcus (Karen) and Lisa Heinisch (Charles) of Warner Robins, Georgia.; his grandchildren, Valerie Marcus, Deacon Marcus, Andrew Heinisch, Chase Heinisch and Jack Heinisch; and his sister Shirley Harvey of New York.
