Donald Ray Roberts Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on June 11, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Donald Ray Roberts of Sarasota, Florida, born in Owingsville, Kentucky. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bud Roberts and Jeannie Roberts; and his siblings, Mike, Sammy Roberts and Ruthie Fields.

He is survived by: his wife Janette Skeen Roberts; his daughter Amber Shankland; his son-in-law Joey Shankland; his grandchildren, Chase Joseph and Lilly Maxwell Shankland; and his siblings, Kenny Roberts (Anita) of Mt Sterling and Paula Kelly (Clarence) of Fairborn, Ohio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donnie's final request was that his body be donated to the United Tissue Network research department in hopes that it may one day help someone else battling prostate cancer.
