He is survived by: his sons, Scott (Darla), Peter (Tammy) and Rodney (Marisa); and his grandchildren, Amanda, Holly, Wesley, Christie, Charity, Jesse, Michael and Hannah. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the "Church of Hope" (Earl Young Memorial) in his honor.
