Edith Maxine Bartone Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith Maxine Bartone (Sarasota, Florida), born in Springfield, Ohio, who passed away on May 27, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Ray E. Bowers; her husband Fred A. Bartone; her son David L. Bowers; and her siblings, Charles Ingledue, Marilyn Ellinger and Mary Cyphers.
She is survived by: her son Scott Bowers; her daughter-in-law Roberta Bowers; her grandchildren, Chris, Kathy (Vanessa), Kevin (Emily), Evan (Sara) and Drew (Maggie); and her great grandchildren, Harrison, Crosby, Harvey and Valerie.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at the Sarasota National Cemetery (9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Loveland Center, (lovelandcenter.org/donate (http://lovelandcenter.org)) reflecting her support for their work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
