He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Matthew Brogan and Barbara Brogan (Gould); his wife Colleen Brogan (King); his son Eddie Brogan; his daughter-in-law Christine of North East; his grandson Bryce Brogan; his siblings, Donna Brogan Avery of Riverside, Michael Brogan (Linda) of Boyne City, Michigan, John Brogan (Kay) of North Port, Florida and Matthew Brogan (Judy) of Venice, Florida.; and his stepchildren, Allen Zang (Stacy) of Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, Jessica Dowling (Clayton) of Kittanning, Pennsylvania and Hunter King of Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania. He was also cherished by many extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edward's memory to Englewood Senior Softball, an organization he enjoyed and supported.
