He is survived by: his wife Roberta Reed Hamilton; his sister Patricia Macdonald of Naples; and his children, Edward Jr. of Gainesville, Lelah (N. Carolina) of New Bern, Charles (Deby) of Ponte Vedra, Catherine (New Brunswick) of St. Andrews and Mark of Jensen Beach. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
