He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Kump and Mary Kump; his grandson Adam Pila; his siblings, Barbara Gasperich (Ralph), Rudy Kump, Francis Kump (Mary) and John Kump; and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Warren and Katherine Ryne (Joseph).
He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his children, Dana Mary Pila (Joseph), Regina Jo Kump and Joseph Edward Kump (Amanda); his grandson Joseph Pila; his sister Jane; and his friends, Patricia and Wes Krasnodebski. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
