He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Daniel F. Redding and Mary Ellen Walsh Redding; his wife Ella Maria McGarraghy of Brooklyn, NY.; his children, Judi Smith (Jeffrey), Ed Redding Jr. (Terrie), Ken Redding (Wendy), Suzann Redding (Tom Hodapp) and Jennifer Gates (Alan); his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Lizzie, Cathleen, Ana, John, Blake, Mikey, Katherine, Chris, Maggie and Ellie; and his great grandchildren, Casey, Fiona, Nolan and Miles.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Church of the Incarnation (2929 Bee Ridge Rd, Sarasota, FL 34239).
