She is survived by: her husband Bill Wood; her children, Kristin Genser (Jeffrey), Katie Roos (Kent), Kaaren Swenson (Todd), Jon Wood, Karolyn Perkins (Aaron) and Juli Thompson (Ben); her grandchildren, Nick, Josh, Ethan, Natalie, Cole, Brianna Genser, Clara, Ellie, Kailyn, Nathan Roos, Karsten, Caedmon, Trygve, Tristan Swenson, Owen, Emmett, Marshall, Kinsley Perkins, Callum, Noelle and Jude Thompson; her sister Judy Bakke; her nephews, Ed and Erik Bakke; and her niece Lisa.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home (12 16th St SE, Sioux Center, IA 51250). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
