With solemn reverence, we commemorate Ellen Cuddy Loretan of Sarasota, Florida, whose life came to an end on September 20, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Cuddy and George Cuddy; and her siblings, James (Laila Cuddy), Nora (Jack Costello) and Maura (William Kehoe).
She is survived by: her husband Bob; her sister Mary; her children, Timothy, Scott (Annie Loretan), Susan and Claire (Jon Duncan); her grandchildren, Claire (Adam Froehlich), Meghan (Kayla McKinney), Meredith (Shane Sarbieski), Christopher (Cailyn Miller) and Nathaniel; and her great grandchild Alban. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church (2506 Gulf Gate Dr, Sarasota, FL 34231-5731).
In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to St. Thomas More Twelve Baskets Food Pantry.
