Though Ernie Appenzeller may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irma Dukes and William Appenzeller; and her brother Max Appenzeller. She is survived by: her family Vienna; her former husband John Honig; her husband John J. Kent, Jr.; her son Gary; her daughter-in-law Peggi Honig; her daughter Judy Honig; and her son-in-law Stephen Robb. She is also survived by three granddogs.
Contributions in Ernie's memory may be made to Locate Food Assistance - All Faiths Food Bank, which she and Jack supported for many years, and WEDU PBS , whose programming brought her so much joy during her years in Florida.
