He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Rainey and David E. Rainey; and his siblings, Robert, Lorenzo and Mary Alice.
He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Regina Rainey; his grandson Jayvien; his siblings, David, Barbara, Geraldine and Clematine Ates; and his brother-in-law Larry Ates. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, a host of cousins, good friends.
