Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Evelyn Louise Wetzel of Sarasota, Florida, who passed away at the age of 96, on September 9, 2025. Though Evelyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Evelyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Beveridge and Elva Steigerwald Beveridge; her husband James Wetzel; and her great great grandchild Marvin Clark. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Richardson, Roy Richardson (TJ), Debbie McCarthy (Rick) and Shirlann Arbuckle (Thom). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
