He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Gilmore and Annie J. Gilmore; and his grandparents, Barnes Gilmore, Nellie Gilmore and Ruby Steen.
He is survived by: his sisters, Vindinna Gilmore and Tabril White; and his sons, Brian Law and Sheldon Cantrell. He is also survived by His grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Truvine Missionary Baptist Church (1947 31st St, Sarasota, FL 34234). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Light of the World International Church (3809 Chapel Dr, Sarasota, FL 34234).
