With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gail Morris of Sarasota, Florida, who passed away on May 16, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Veal and Sara Jean Grantham Veal; and her daughter Denise Fountain. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Morris of Sarasota, FL; her daughters, Parrish Daugherty (Rob) and Frances Renee Morris; her sisters, Patricia Peacock (Thomas), Jane Veal and Tracey Kerrick (Jay); and her grandchildren, Amber Moten, Skyla Swann, Cierra Fountain, Addison Daugherty and Rilan Daugherty. She is also survived by six Great-Grandchildren.
