It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Mayo (Sarasota, Florida), who passed away on April 11, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Mayo (Taylor) and Rev. Sherman R. Mayo, Sr.; and her siblings, Sherman R. Mayo Jr., Naomi Mayo, Carla Walter and Chiquita Drayton.
She is survived by: her children, Karla Lorraine Wooten, Dhavid Michason Wooten, Leshia Mone Wooten and Rhashalon Alexander Norris; and her grandchildren, Camaryn D. Wooten, Calista Bey, Christopher Wooten, Xavier Wooten and Hershel Norris. She is also survived by 7 siblings, great grand children and nieces/nephews.
