He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Meyer and Phyllis Meyer (Harsh); and his daughter Gail Peruba. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Meyer of Sarasota, FL; his son Craig Meyer (Steven Mayo) of Winterpark, FL; his son-in-law Chad Peruba (Jenny) of Geneva, IL; his grandchildren, Emily Poythress (Joshua) of Chicago and Matthew Peruba of Chicago; and his brother Gilbert Meyer (Marcia) of Deer Park.
