He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Joan "Becky" Thompson; his children, Kathy Hegemann (Mike) of Colorado Springs, Tresa Yost (William) of Tazwell, Stephen Hongsermeier of Kentucky, Lisa Payne (Ron) of Myakka City and David Hongsermeier of Florida; his grandchildren, Samantha Cox, Nicole Widmer, Danielle Weaver, Jake Widmer, Sean Yost, Reese Yost, Joann Allen, Lillian Hongsermeier, Anthony Hongsermeier, Nick Hongsermeier and Ronni Sue Payne; his great grandchildren, Dylan Cox, Carissa Cox, Jensen Weaver, Thea Weaver and Benjamin Allen; and his brothers, Richard Hongsermeier of Houston and Larry Hongsermeier of LaVergne, Tennessee. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
