He is survived by: his wife Rose; his close friend Leoda; his children, Huard Jr. (Francina), Shirlee Wilkins-Ward (Veronica), Leonard Wilkins, Amelia Wilkins, Teresa Wilkins of Texas, Richard Brown of Texas, Robin Brown-Morris (Phillip) and Leetha Brown of Illinois; his stepmother Eartha Phelps; and his siblings, Henry Jr. (Gwendolyn), Victor Phelps Sr. (Deborah), Ronnie Phelps, John Phelps, Lorenzo Phelps, Patricia Phelps-Young, Lauraa Phelps and Mary Phelps.
