He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Brooks and Mima Brooks (Bailey); his siblings, Jay, Benton, Ronald, Rosemary and Anne Hayes; and his siblings-in-law, Leo Hayes, Betty, Margaret and Helen Brooks.
He is survived by: his significant other Dora Louise Brooks (Yeary); his daughters, Deborah Pratt (Mark), Janet Augello (Anthony), Donna Everett and Mary Ann Brooks (Dan); his grandchildren, Gold, Victor Pratt (Courtney), Tiffany Augello (Grant Dennis), Lauren Hoort (Aaron), Anthony Augello, Jr., Samantha Bott (Blaine), J. Michael Everett, Ciera Brant (Adam), Tyler Gosla and James Gosla (Mahalia); his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Mila, Luca, Brylee, Kamren, Harper, Roman and Malaki; his brothers, Kenneth Brooks and Robert Brooks of Monroe, MI.; and his sister-in-law Beverly Brooks of Owosso, MI. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his name to American Heart Association, Alzheimer's Association Florida Gulf Coast Chapter.
