With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Patrick Sheils in Sarasota, Florida, who passed away on December 25, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Denis Francis Sheils and Mary Elizabeth Durkin Sheils; and his siblings, Denis and Gloria King. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Marie Nelson; and his children, Julie O'Kane (JB), Carolyn Espinosa (Alex), Monica Gifford, Jim (Jamie) and Tim. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.
