He was predeceased by: his parents, Parmelia Mays Underwood and James L. Thomas Sr.; and his brother Keith Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Thomas; and his siblings, Theopolis Thomas (LaWanda), Terria Gibbs (Eric), Debra Thomas Gary (Eric) and Jamie Thomas. He is also survived by family members and friends.
