He was predeceased by : his parents, Clyde Bennett and Fannie Mae Bennett; his siblings, Geneva Ingram, Margaret Busby, Elmer Bennett, William Bennett, Betty Jean Welke, Claudia Bowman, Gertrude Coleman, Erma Yarbrough and Wanda Fatheree; his wife Harriet Jane Bennet; and his son Jimmy Don Bennett Jr..
He is survived by : his sister Francis Graham; his daughter Betty Rice; his son-in-law Paul Rice; his son Christopher Bennet; his stepchildren, Alyssa Hawkins, Johnny Harmon and Tonya Harmon; and his grandchildren, Cassandra Bonds, Bernard Bonds, William Moore and Travis Moore. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 17th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Sarasota National Cemetery.
