The memory of JoAnn Gardner of Sarasota, Florida, who passed away on September 27, 2025 at the age of 82, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the sacred silence of farewell, JoAnn is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that JoAnn's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank E. Halsted and Dorothy L. Halsted (Hamlin); and her brother-in-law Edwin Raynor. She is survived by: her son Todd; her grandchildren, Tess and Joshua; and her sisters, Dayle Raynor, Linda Lee Williams (Tony) and Hope Zielinski (Al). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the City Church (2480 US-9W, Ravena, NY 12143). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
