John E Frabotta Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John E Frabotta of Apache Junction, Arizona. John passed away on February 1, 2022 at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Florida after a short illness.
John was born in Elyria Memorial Hospital and recently celebrated his 80th birthday surrounded by friends he loved and who loved him. He graduated from Elyria Catholic High School, Class of 1959, attending many class reunions. He served Honorably in the Army National Guard of Ohio from 1962 to 1968.
John lived life to the fullest squeezing out every ounce and giving back as much in return. He loved his family, being outdoors including hunting, fishing, watersports, motorcycle riding, fast cars, and watching the stars in the dark sky of his Arizona ranch.
John is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Susan Stark Frabotta of Apache Junction, Arizona, his ‘best son ever’ Joseph J Frabotta of Santee, CA, his sister Donna Miller of Elyria, Ohio and many, many family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph Frabotta and Anne Tobacash Frabotta of Elyria, his sister JoAnne Murdock, and his loving daughter Diane Barnett Woodrum. John’s handsome face, never ending energy, and magical smile will be missed by everyone he touched.
A private service will be held this spring in Williams, Arizona.
We will miss you forever my ‘Johnny Kochany,’ a name his grandmother gave him at a very young age.
