He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Bauman and Margaret Bauman; his brothers, James Burton, Bradley, William and Thomas Bauman; and his daughter Paula Pifer-Wewers.
He is survived by: his children, Lizabeth, Betsy Bauman, Peggy Winiarski (Ron), Barbara, Babe Trentadue (Jeff), John R. Bauman (Paula) and Robert Bauman (Renee); his son-in-law Fran Wewers; and his brother Mark Bauman. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
