He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Hodge and Esther Fay Hodge; and his brother Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Laurie; his sister Alana; and his children, Kim, Robbie (Melanie) and Jackie (Arthur). He is also survived by six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to LifePath Hospice, the American Heart Association, or the American Kidney Fund.
