He was predeceased by: his father Joaquim Magalhaes. He is survived by: his wife Kay; his children, Krista Benton-Ziegler (Jason), Jan Oduber (Gerardo), David Kernahan (Vicky), Karen Magalhaes, Kurt Magalhaes and Karlene Magalhaes; his siblings, Herbert Magalhaes (Florence), Maria Hasmatali and Rita Stanley; and his grandchildren, Ethan, Caleb, Jillian, Leonardo, Franklyn, Katarina, Christian, Christina, Bradley, Gregory and Jaden. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
