It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie B Patterson of Sarasota, Florida, born in Binghamton, New York, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Irene D. Bloomer, and William H. Bloomer, Sr.; her husband David, Sr.; her son David, Jr.; her son-in-law Glenn R. Smith; and her siblings, William H. Bloomer, Jr. and Sarah Jane Bloomer.
She is survived by: her children, Susan P. Smith of Cary, NC, Dr. Julie P. Fago (John) of Bethel, VT and Don D. Patterson, II (Mary Beth) of Lakewood Ranch, FL; her sister-in-law Patty Bloomer of Binghamton, NY; and her grandchildren, Michael Smith (Justine) of Chicago, IL, Kathryn Meeks (Justin) of Nashville, TN, Tina Horn (Jason) of Apex, NC, Peter Nicholls (Niff) of Philadelphia, PA and Dr. Evan Mullen of Palo Alto, CA. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; and 10 nieces and nephews.
