She was predeceased by: her parents, John Rieck and Olga Rieck (Maschoff); and her siblings, Vernon, Arlene (Kinkel) and Elaine (Miller).
She is survived by: her husband Clarence W Schawk; her children, Cathy, David (Teryl), Judy Gallo (Bruce) and Lisa Stearns (Scott); and her grandchildren, Kelly, Colleen, Kara, Jessica, William, Mallory and Sarah Grace. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren and many nieces' nephews, cousins and dear friends.
