She was predeceased by: her parents, Erma Hinkle Walker and William Walker; and her husband Louis Phillip Schaeffer. She is survived by: her son Phillip Schaeffer (Sara) of Stamford, CT; her grandson Ian Schaeffer of New York City; and her nieces, Mary Frank (Steven), Kay Shumaker (Jim), Lynn Bergen (Werner) and Donna Glick (Stephen).

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the donor's favorite charity.
