He is survived by: his mother Rhoda Solomon Marcus; his stepfather Dr. Charles Sparks; his children, David Spielman and Sarah Spielman (Laurie Spielman Oswald); his father Jon Spielman; his brother Andrew Spielman; his children, Nora, Corey, Julia and Alana Spielman; his sister-in-law Emi Deguchi Spielman; his nieces and nephews, Jack and Graycen Malinzak; his sister Molly Marcus Chernin; his brother-in-law Scott Chernin; his nieces and nephews, Miles and Malia; his aunts and uncles, Terri Schirmer, Jan Rosow, Fran Spielman, George Tavarides, Norman Rosow and Ralph Spielman; his cousins, Eric, Daniel Rosow and Jesse Spielman; his friend Alex Funkhouser; and his pet Louis.
