She was predeceased by: her parents, Ealem O. Matthews and Ollie Matthews (Emanuel Hill); her daughters, Debra Marlene Hill and Susan Lorraine Hill; and her siblings, Millard Medford Matthews, Wille Dean Matthews, Willard Matthews, Wilburn Matthews and Wilma Whidden.
She is survived by: her son Joseph E. Hill (Elizabeth) of Bradenton; and her siblings, Eugene Matthews of Parrish and Christine. She is also survived by three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
