He is survived by: his parents, Richard Blumenthal and Barbara Blumenthal (Edelman); his wife Colleen Blumenthal (Horrigan); his sons, Samuel James of Chicago, IL and Noah Jon of Waltham, MA; and his sister Rhonda Blumenthal (Pearse Kelly). He is also survived by his in-laws, numerous sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, and cousins.
