Nancy leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Nancy’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Nancy will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She is survived by: her husband James Winding; her daughters, Charlene and Melanie; and her stepsons, Robert, Steve and Don Winding. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home (170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Sarasota National Cemetery (9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241).
