He was predeceased by: his parents, Loreta Salas and Emilio Gison. He is survived by: his wife Marilou Lipa Gison; his children, John Noel, Mark Jezryl, June Michael, Jeline Mariz and Angela Nichole; his son-in-law Julius Kenn; and his grandchildren, Maddox, Jace Jaxon and Jian Dwight.
