With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia M. Emerling of Sarasota, Florida, who passed away on January 7, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Patricia departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Patricia may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Patricia leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Madeline Smith and Thomas E. Smith; her husband Bill; her brother Tom; and her nephew Thomas E. Smith.
She is survived by: her sister Madeline Greene of Magnolia, DE; her sibling's children, Stuart Greene (Jessica Labosky) of Seaford, DE and Patricia Greene (Corey Meyers) of Lincoln, DE; and her great-nephew Mason Meyers.
