With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Renate Inge Langner Rooney of Sarasota, Florida, who passed away on May 29, 2026 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fritz August Zacherau and Helen Johanna Zacherau; her husband Stephan Langner; and her brothers, Alfons and Dieter Zacherau.
She is survived by: her children, Roland (Melodye Langner) of Verona, Silvia (Bob Piscitelli) of Colts Neck and Frank (Susan Langner) of Clifton; her grandchildren, Roland, Dustin, Jamie, Angela, Monica, Bobby, Karen and Stephanie; and her great grandchildren, Brielle, Hayley, Evan, Carter, Danica, Logan, Luke, Bennett, Colette, Evelyn, Tripp, Garret and Nora. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
