He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert S. Chiles and Mildred Chiles (Hohenstein); and his sisters, Marilyn and Mildred. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his daughters, Deborah Waller (Mike) and Rebecca Knecht (Jim Knecht); his grandchildren, Melinda Snavely (David), Michael (Sarah) and Jeff (Marie); his child Jamie (Jacob); and his great grandchildren, Kendall, Zachary, Madison, Harlin, Jack, Jonnathon, Christopher, Charlie, Willa and Willie.
