He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Ray Phipps, Sr. and Edith Theresa Phipps; and his brothers, Sidney Ray Phipps, Jr. and James Daniel Phipps. He is survived by: his brother Glenn Phipps; and his sister-in-law Linda Phipps. He is also survived by 12 nieces & nephews, 22 great-nieces & great-nephews and 18 great-great nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory (1411 Annapolis Rd, Odenton, MD 21113). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Donaldson Funeral Home (1411 Annapolis Rd, Odenton, MD 21113). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Epiphany Episcopal Church (1419 Odenton Rd, Odenton, MD 21113).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches in Live Oak, FL in Robert's memory.
