He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Rott Jacobson and Leif Jacobson. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Watson; his daughter Amanda Howe; his son-in-law Connor Howe; his grandson Rodney J. Howe; his close friend Dr. Roger Stanek; and his sister-in-law Ginger Stanek.
