He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Schauer and Theodore Schauer; his siblings, Carol Lietzke (Dick), Robert Schauer (Shirley) and Ed Schauer; and also, Faye Zurfluh (Butch), Joyce Trotter (Bill), Butch Bauer (Tootie), Marvin Bauer (Yvonne), Shirley Klein (Richard), Orville Bauer and Howard Krekowski.
He is survived by: his wife Janice M. Bauer; his children, Jodi Zamora (Cristian) of Georgia and Jeffrey Schauer (Kim) of Wisconsin; his siblings, Mary, Ken (Shari) and Doug (Joyce); his grandchildren, Michael, Jennifer, Jason and Nicol; his great grandchildren, Nolan, Olivia, Gianna, Rubie and Violeta; his sister-in-law Lani Falk (Wisconsin); and also, Gloria Krekowski and Mary Ann Dabney (David).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Feldner/Ritchay Funeral Home (615 1st St, Nekoosa, WI 54457). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
