He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Otis and Pauline Prouty (Forster); his stepfather Lawrence Prouty; his sister Phyllis Brigham; and his brother-in-law James A. Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Wilson); his children, David and Dorothy; his granddaughter Alyssa Doss (Harley Varnadore); his great grandchildren, Layla and Kiley Varnadore; and his sister Florence Louise Clark. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A committal service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Sarasota National Cemetery (9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241).
